Our commitment
NiyyahChef is designed to be welcoming to everyone — customers and cooks alike, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or other assistive technologies. We treat accessibility as a baseline, not a feature.
Standards we follow
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the site. That includes sufficient color contrast, keyboard-only navigation for every interactive element, descriptive labels for icons and form fields, and respect for the prefers-reduced-motion system setting.
Personal preferences
Use the Accessibility button in the site header to enable:
- Reduce motion — disables non-essential animations and transitions.
- Text size — small, default, large, or extra-large.
- High contrast — increases the contrast of text, borders, and buttons.
Settings save to this device, and to your account if you're signed in, so they follow you between sessions.
Known limitations
Some embedded third-party flows (notably checkout and identity verification) are operated by their respective providers and may have their own accessibility characteristics outside of our direct control. We choose providers that meet or commit to WCAG AA.
Report a barrier
If something on NiyyahChef is hard to use with your assistive technology, we want to know. Reach our team through the help & support page and we'll respond within two business days. Please include the page URL, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use.
